Travel to Anguilla
Anguilla
Anguilla is located in the Eastern Caribbean at 18 degrees
north and 63 degrees west, just one hour east of Puerto Rico
and 7 minutes north of Dutch St. Maarten by air and 20
minutes north of French St. Martin by ferry. Anguilla's
airport code is AXA. From any major city in the USA or
Canada, you may fly to San Juan, Puerto Rico and connect
with American Eagle (until April 6, 2011) that is to be the
last day of their service to Anguilla, or Air Anguilla
Express to Anguilla. Cape Air begins two daily return
flights from San Juan into Anguilla on December 22, 2010.
You may also fly directly into Dutch St. Maarten (SXM) and
take a private charter or scheduled 7 minute flight on
Anguilla Air Services or Trans Anguilla Airways to Anguilla,
or your choice of Ferry Services. Connections can also be
made from Antigua (ANU) St. Kitts (SKB)or St, Thomas (STT)
on LIAT or private charter to Anguilla.
The Ferry
Ferries are a popular way of travel between Dutch St.
Maarten, French St. Martin and Anguilla. The scheduled
service from Marigot (French St. Martin) to Blowing Point
Anguilla departs every 45 minutes with the last ferry
departing Marigot at 7 p.m. in addition there are charter
and scheduled services from the Airport on Dutch St. Maarten

Departure taxes from Anguilla are US$20 (onward bound) and
US$5 (day trip) for adults and children 12 years and over.
